Last Friday at bed time I felt something bite me on my forehead. It was too dark to see what it was but the sting hurt quiet a bit. I touched my forehead and felt a tiny bump. The next day I noticed a tiny little bump where I felt the sting and figured it was a mosquito or something. Sunday came and noticed what seemed like the bumped had water inside (kind of like an ant bite). That night I felt left side of my face very delicate. If I touched my face it felt like sunburned. Few days later the pain on my left side of the face wasn't there anymore but It was on my scalp area. The area of the bite got bigger and started to turn red from popping it that day. Big mistake, following days it spread and noticed the "warts" more. My insurances was recently canceled so I googled and came across shingles. I'm 26 yrs old and had chicken pox at age 3. I know its rare on younger people but the symptoms were there. Now it's one week later and the warts have started to dry up and hardly itch. Small headaches here and there but I did wake up with my right eye swollen. There's no outbreak near the eye but not sure what's going on. Could it be shingles even though I felt the bite that night? My only symptoms have been the sensitive feeling on left side of my face along with scalp area that's fading away, very little itching, headaches that feel like migraines, and the warts with redness around it. No fever, nausea, vomiting has occurred.

Thanks for posting your query. I can understand your concern.
This is shingles, also called herpes zoster.
The treatment for it would be taking anti viral medication called valacyclovir. You will need a prescription from your doctor for it.
You will also benefit from application of an antibiotic cream like neosporin or mupirocin to the affected area.
In case of any pain you can take paracetamol tablet for it.
