Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
Narcan is given to the patient, for reduction of pain. It is safe and it is not going to cause further bleeding, or worsen the situation.
What exactly are you worried about? Can you kindly elaborate?
Regards.

Well I know someone who died from a combo of herion and trama.he had 29±6mcg/L (ng/ml)of herion in his system. (His autopsy stated) he died 40 hours later of taken herion an when the autopsy was performed. Allowing time for it to dispurse or metabolized. (When he went to hospital he was alert he started to experience reduced oxygen to the brain an ultimately anoxic encephalopathy) so with someone that had brain an spinal cord injurys and a lethal dose of herion to my understanding when narcan is given it puts the body in instant withdraws due to herion. Like shocking the system could the narcan have fried his brain? Or played a part? Some side affects are fever ,coma ,death , cardiac arrest an many more but those are the ones that make me believe that narcan could have also played a role. There's a trial going on over it in elyria Ohio Nicholas masley punched Jeffrey brooks after he shot the dose of herion Jeffrey fell an hit his head and . the beating was mild only 2 Punch's . but caused Jeff to go into seizer after hitting his knek on the fall

Hello,
Yes, overdose of Narcan can cause such symptoms.
But in the case you mentioned in the initial query, Narcan was required to reduce the pain.
Also, heroin played a major role in enhancing the effects of Narcan.
Regards.
