MACULAR PAPULE on penis head. HERPES?

Resolved question:
I am a 23 year old male and I have concern I may have herpes. The sexually contact I believe cause the rash was hand to genital contact with a stripper I believe she use saliva also. The sexUal act was performed 10 days ago. My rash is diffuse over my mons pubis with no discomfort and I have 5 red macular pauple lesions on the head of my penis. The lesions are bilateral. My question is does this sound like herpes and how easy is it to contract herpes in this mannor (sexual petting).

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
The rash and the maculo papular lesions does sound like herpes, and you should get yourself investigated for both HSV-1, and HSV-1 IGG,IGM antibodies.
But the exposure you had, there is practically no chance of contracting herpes from that sexual exposure, until and unless you had oral intercourse. Mere touching of gentialia by the hand does not cause herpes.
It's slightly confusing how you still ended up with a rash.
However befor jumping into conclusions, it is better to get yourself tested, so that if it comes out to be positive Valacyclovir therapy can be started to treat the rash.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.

Thank you doctor for you speedy reply in this time of anxioty. As for the possible exposure there was No oral sex performed. However, she did use Saliva as a lubercant, immediately I received the hand job I went home and used an iodine surgical scrub and washed my genitals. For 10 days there wasn't a rash. However I then had sexual intercourse with my long time girlfriend during her period and for the first time ejaculated inside her. There was mesntral blood on my mons pubis. During the sexual act there was a lot of rubbing between the pubic areas. My question is can the mixture of mestral blood and seman cause this rash and should I take my girlfriend to get tested as well or should I first get tested? Also does the saliva increase my odds of contracting herpes with only hand on genital contact. Also iv I can rember correctly the stripper did not have any visible ulcers on her lips

Hello,
Now after more details getting herpes from the stripper seems highly unlikely.
Just by rubbing saliva, herpes can't be spread and moreover she also had no such outbreak.
So overall chances of you getting herpes from her, is very low.
Since you had sex and a lot of friction, the rash could be a result of that. So before taking your girl friend or getting tested youself, i will advise you to use Tab. Claritin 10 mg once at bed time, for a couple of days. Meanwhile if there is no improvement, and the rash keeps increasing then you get yourself tested first.
Regards.
