I need to know why I am nauseas at night mostly and fatigued throughout the day

1. For how long are you having these symptoms (days, weeks, months ?)
2. Do you have any stomach upset or abdominal symptoms? (Like diarrhoea, abdominal pain, constipation?)
3. Have you had any significant illness in the past?
4. Do you have any of these symptoms – Fever, breathlessness, chest pain, leg swelling, pain over the joints ?
5. By ‘fatigued’ may I know what exactly you mean ? Is it just a feeling of tiredness or are you physically disabled to carryout work ?

1. Months. 2. Well as soon as I eat, I must go. Like several times a day. 3. Just MRSA. 4. Occasional chest pain or shoulder pain. 5. I goto work every day feeling fine and then at several times during the day I must stop and rest. I need to sleep for a bit.

Thank you for the additional details you have provided.

You are having a set of constitutional symptoms which are nonspecific. When I say non specific I do NOT mean that they are not significant, just that the symptom patter is not suggestive of a single diagnosis.

There are a number of possibilities we need to rule out by doing appropriate tests. This has to be done in a stepwise manner. Liver and Kidney disorders are the first and foremost entities to be ruled out (as both can cause nausea and fatigue). Other diagnostic possibilities like blood related disorders, a bowel upset should also be ruled out. You will require some blood tests for this. These tests are simple and easily available.

1. Renal Function Test (Urea, Creatinine, Electrolytes)
2. Liver Function Tests (Including Proteins)
3. Complete Haemogram
4. Urine Routine.

Once the results are available we can rule of major illness and a treatment protocol or protocol for further evaluation if needed can be formalised.
I recommend getting in touch with your GP to get theses tests done.
