Neutrophilic leukocytosis with thrombocytosis.

Resolved question:
In May 2012, I was diagnosed with neutrophilis leukocytosis (high white blood cell count-15.9) and thrombrocytosis (high platelets) I had a follow up in October 2012. My white blodd cell was the same and my platelets lowered to 437. Recently, I went for a full physical. My white blood cell count was at even 15 but my platelets at 579. I recently have been taking a lot of vitamins, especially b12 and in December 2013, I start taking Depo Vera for birth control and my vitamin d level is low. It is possible that the Depo Vera; low vitamin d; and/or the overdose of B12 can the levels to elevate.

Hello,

Thank you for choosing DoctorSpring.

I would like to know some additional details from you so that I can provide a solid and learned opinion.
You can reply as a followup

1. Was a test called "Peripheral Smear Examination " done ? If so do you have the reports ?
2. Were you taking B12 injections ? If so for how long ?
3. Do you have any symptoms ?

Thank you
