hello im a 59 yr old male suffer from congestive heart failier weigh 360 lbs have back problems arthritus in my knees.im a recovering addicit (cocain) . i have been clean since december 19th 2013. i was doing anywhere from 1 gram to 3 grams a day. im on several (9) medications for heart lasix- coumadin-metoprolol-etc. but after being clean a lil over 8 months why would i still be testingt hot for cocain in urine

I understand that you are a recovering addict with congestive heart failure and arthritis . Since you have been clean for the past 8 months , the results could be due to false positive cocaine in the urine.
I would like to know some additional information from you :
1. Have you taken Amoxicillin or consumed coffee or tea /tonic water before the test or in the recent past ?
2. Are you keeping cocaine at home ? Even if you not using it, is there any chance you are coming in contact with it ? (Like handling them)
3. Did you take any natural remedies or similar medications in the recent past ?
