Resolved question:
I am currently on Gianvi birth control medication. I took a pill this morning (day 7 of pack). Soon after, I threw up about 30 mins after due to a hangover. Does this mean I need to use a different form of birth control?

Hello,
Since you are on Day 7th I assume you might have missed (vomited out) a 'pink' pill. In that case its is safer to use an alternative method of contraception like condom for atleast 3 days. You can continue the rest of the pack from tomorrow.
While a missing a single dose does not put you in pregnancy risk, you will not be fully protected until Day 7 if you have started the pill after your periods / Sundays. So there is an small inherent risk anyway till Day 7. So it is better to use alternative contraception.
