One side of body feels sore, pain in calf.

Resolved question:
The whole right side of my body has been "sore " (not sure how to really explain it) for a couple days. I have been moving furniture lately, but it's strange it's only right sided. About a week ago the ankle of this side starting cracking alot, which is strange for me. Then my calf starting hurting and now everything all the way up to the side of my neck

Hello,
Thank you for your medical query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
Is it more of a muscular kind of pain? Muscle pains aggravate more on movement especially on the side affected. However, you did mention your ankle started cracking up. Do you have pain on any other joints of your body? How will you rate the pain on a scale of 1-10?
Meanwhile, avoid any further moving of furniture till the pain settles down. You should rest for a couple of days and see if there is some improvement. Unilateral muscle sprains are not uncommon, however, in your case the joints seem involved too.
Hope this was helpful,
Feel free to discuss further.

Hello,
Thank you for your follow-up.
Yes, the soreness seems to be muscular in origin and you can take mild analgesics like Advil twice daily for relief.
The cracking of the joints though needs to be evaluated. I will advise you get an x-ray of your knees ( bilateral ) and also get your serum calcium evaluated.
Kindly follow-up once you have the reports.
Regards.
