Pain in back after treating FRACTURED L1 VERTEBRA. XRAY.

Resolved question:
About a year ago, i fell and i started to have back pains. I went to the hospital and i had an xray and the doctor told me i had fractured my L1 (not sure if i use the term vertebrae or lumbar here..) i was given some pain medication and sent on my way because i did not have insurance at the time. A few months later i went to a different hospital from the pain and received another xray. This doctor told me she couldnt see ANY signs of it every being fracture. This confused me because i felt the pain, amd one doctor said it was fractured and another said the opposite. Ive gone about my buisness taking tylenol and ibuprofen when i can to manage the lain, but over the oast month my pain has gotten worse. I cannot stand still, straight up without my lower back feeling like its tightening up, like i NEED to sit down. When i walk the pain lessens but is still there until i sit down, and when i do sit the pain is gone almost immediately.other than the walking or standing my back seems to be on, somedays its more sore than others, stiff and hard to walk, amd some days i get sharp pains in my lower back with some movements im wondering what this could be caused by?

Hello,
Thank you for your medical query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
I sincerely apologise for the delay in the reply too.
Will you be able to share the x-ray that you took before? This will help me analyse if you actually have a fracture. Because if you do,the symptoms you are having is explained.
If no fracture the symptoms are suggestive of a muscle pull and can also be due to a pinched nerve. The pain due to a pinched nerve can arise after injuries to the vertebra, and persists for some time.

If you can't attach it here, then send it to info@doctorspring.com, and I will get back to you.
Regards,
Dr. Tiwari
