Pain in back, pelvis with normal PSA, PROSTATE. PROSTATITIS?

Resolved question:
I recently saw my GP for what I thought was prostatitis. I am 41 and had prostatitis once when I was 30. I was experiencing lower back pain, some pain in my pelvis and thighs. I have not experienced any discomfort during urination or intercourse. I had a PSA and prostate exam in February. Both were normal. My doctor prescribed three weeks of Cipro. After two doses, my back pain was much, much worse, especially while sitting. I stopped after four doses. I plan on seeing him on Monday, but as it is the weekend, I was looking for another opinion.

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
From your complaints you don't seem to be suffering from prostatitis. You appear to be having low backache with some radiation to limbs.
You need to take rest and take some pain killer and you should settle down.
Please feel free to ask further queries,
Take care
Sincerely
Rajiv Goel
