Painful red bump on face with pounding headache.

Resolved question:
Hello, I'm a 33 yr female who on the 1st of this month noticed a painful red bump on my face. No scratch or bite or anything near it. Within 72 hours it had spread and became very painful. Went to er and was diagnosed cellulitis. Given two antibiotics scripts. 48 hours after that I noticed the symptoms were getting worse, still very painful, additional redness appearing and more swelling near eye. Went back to er. They gave me an iv antibiotic told me to stop taking one of the antibiotics and to start on a new one. After about 6 days the symptoms didn't get worse but I felt like hell. Finally started to slowly mend. Face started scabbing up, starting to be able to do anything other than sleep. Two days ago I woke up with an incredibly sore throat. Throughout the day my lymph nodes on the right side of my neck started swelling like crazy. Became lightheaded, vision blurry, pounding headache, profuse sweating- no fever. Went back to er and was dismissed by a callous doctor as being "impatient like his wife" these are NEW symptoms and I've been on antibiotics for 14 days now. Is this a normal reaction? Do I have cause for worry?

Hello.
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com.
I understand your what you are going through.
Are you still lightheaded, with the blurred vision, headache and profuse sweating?
If yes, then I would suggest that you go to an urgent care clinic, not to the same ER. You can reply to this consult later.
If those symptoms have improved, only then, please answer these questions. I require additional details in order to provide a definitive opinion.
1. Were you examined by that doctor on your last visit to the ER?
2. Were any blood tests done on your last visit? If yes, please upload the reports in the follow up.
3. Please mention the antibiotics you have been on totally in these 14 days, along with duration of intake of each of them.
4. Please mention other drugs you have been on as well.
5. Do you have a history of headaches or migraines?
6. Has the wound on your face healed completely now?
7. How is the sore throat now? and the enlarged lymph nodes?
Please also upload all your recent blood work if available.
Kindly reply according to your convenience.
Regards.
