Hello,

Thanks for posting your query. I can understand your concern.

From the picture, it seems like herpes.

It would be best to take an antiviral valacyclovir and apply mupirocin cream over the lesions. You will need a prescription for the medications.

Please let me know if you have any queries.

The bumps on my vagina do not hurt. I always thought that herpes hurt. Am I wrong?

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.

Herpes does hurt, there can be a mild attack of herpes just like in your case which at times may not hurt.

From the picture, it looks like herpes, at times it gets difficult to opine only with a picture and a physical examination is necessary.

Hence I would recommend that you start applying the cream and visit your doctor who can examine you and give you a prescription of valacyclovir if necessary.

Take care
