Painless pea sized lump on scalp which moves around.

I have a pea sized lump on my scalp.

It doesnt hurt or anything, it moves around with my skin.

Its hard and its been there for a while now always been about the same skin.

I cant get a picture of it as in on my scalp. Hair is to thick to take a picture.

As you understand, it's very difficult to comment on a lump without actually seeing or examining it. It could be a sebaceous cyst from your description.

It would be best to visit your doctor to confirm the diagnosis. Also it would be best to confirm the diagnosis and then accordingly take the decision of whether to excise it or not.
