Painless small bump on penis . HSV1?

Resolved question:
Hi Doctor,

I have just noticed a single small bump on my penis (Just below the penis head). It's completley painless, it's not sore or itchy at all. I wouldn't have known it was there if I didn't see it. I had a complete panel of std tests completed a few months ago and was free from everything (Apart from HSV1 coldsores) so I don't really know what this is? My partner also had a std test at the time and everything was negative.

I have attached a picture for your review. Is this anything to worry about?

Thanks,

John.

Hello,

Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I can understand your concern.

It seems to be a small scar probably secondary to a lesion you had there. Or it could be a small epidermal cyst. It doesn't seem like anything to worry about.

Please let me know if you have any queries.
Take care

Hi doctor,
So it doesn't look like an std of any kind? When you speak of a lesion, would this be caused by friction or somthing like that?
Should I just let it go away on it's own?
Thanks,
John.

Hello

Thanks for your reply.

It doesn't seem to be a std. It seems to be a scar or as i mentioned a cyst which could be without a cause.

I would suggest you observe it and follow up with your dermatologist in case it increases in size.

Please let me know if you have any queries
