Hello Doctor, that was very informative and clear. But I request you to guide me with the dates and make a schedule for me. I shall give all my details. I have been having regular periods since my childhood except once when I have taken emergency contraceptive pill 1 year ago, it was a little delayed. My cycle is exactly 30 day cycle not a 28 day one but sometimes it gets 1 or 2 days delayed. My last period was on 27th of last month It usually lasts for 3 days and spotting on the other two days.

Hello, It is really good to hear from you back and I can surely help you with your schedule. Firstly, let us predict your next period date and then we can calculate the ovulatory day. Your next period would most likely be on 26th or 27th of this month .so if we substract 14 days from that day, the ovulatory day would be on 12th or 13th of this month. Not to narrow down the dates, I would like to give you a range of 5 days from 10th to 15th which is most likely the fertile period. Having sexual intercourse during this period, daily, could yield positive results. You can take measures like marking the dates on the calender. This fertile time can also be identified by other than calender method. The mucus becomes more tenacious, longer and longer, does not break during the fertile period, and it is thick, breaks easily during non-fertile time/ non-ovulatory period. One of you can take a leave from your work during the 5 days that I have mentioned, to have sexual intercourse so that there will be more chances for you to conceive. Hope this helps.
