Shortness of breath, tightness in chest with STENT in heart.

Resolved question:
I had a heart cath in August. 1 stent was installed. I still have the same symptoms, shortness of breath, and tightness across my upper chest sometimes branching to my left arm, nut not all the time. Since then I have had a stress test and an echo but both showed normal. My question to my cardioligist was " Is there any other medical problems that would cause these symptoms?" He sidestepped my question. Am I getting old and paranoid I am 74, have had 3 bypasses, hypertension. A Fib, and diabetes. Any ideas

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com

Do you have these symptoms on exertion or at rest? You could get an angiography done to see if all the grafts are normal and the stents are normal.
After undergoing the stress of multiple angioplsties and bypass people tend to develop a fear of having recurrent heart disease and may start imagining things.
However we can confirm it as psychological only after an angiography turns normal.
