Soreness, pain in joints with raised URIC ACID. Recommendations.

Resolved question:
Hello, I have sore joints (everywhere), this has been ongoing for over 6 years, I have had blood tests and have been diagnosed with yeti g old. I am 38 year old male, who practiced boxing, football and kick boxing until the pains in my hips and knees got to much, I know have the pains and cracks on my back, neck, elbows... Everywhere! I have also Ben having issues with my blDder which appear to be getting worse, I used to go to toilet. Go to bed, jump out of my skin as I felt I was going to leak..this has now passed into day time rocking in my chair for fear of leaking.( this use to flare up and flare down) it now seems to be here to stAy/. I'm at my wits end, the drz have suggested gout, but I have no inflammation, although I do have a 489 reading on my Uric acid reading, I have been told to lay off purine, also been prescribed tolterodine tartrate, been taking for 3 weeks with no signs of improvement.

My father and uncle both have had kidney stones..for info.

Any thoughts or recommendations would be hugely appreciated.
Best regards

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
You seem to be having overactive bladder and you are on right treatment. I shall be interested to know your ultrasound report.

A lot of patients may not respond to tolterodine and if no improvement has happened after 1 week then patient should consider change of medication(some other anticholinergic). You should see your doctor and consider change of medication.
Feel free to discuss further,

Take care
Sincerely
Rajiv Goel
