Hello,

Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I can understand your concern. I reviewed the pictures.

It seems to be a mucous cyst. It doesn't look like cancer in the picture.

However it's better to visit your dermatologist and let him examine it in person and do a biopsy of in doubt.

The mucous cysts can be either frozen or excised.

Please let me know if you have any queries.

- I emailed yesterday and mentioned that its a mucous cyst and doesn't look like cancer in the picture. But you should still visit your dermatologist who can examine it and do a biopsy if in doubt.

I came across a similar case in my clinical practice which looked like a mucous cyst but when i did a biopsy it turned out to be squamous cell carcinoma.

Hence i would like to reiterate that please visit your dermatologist who can do a biopsy for you as lesion which are just seen on a picture can be quite deceptive.
Regards.
