Swollen lymph node at back of ear, increasing in size.

Resolved question:

I am 19 years old and two weeks ago I found a swollen lymph node behind my left ear. It doesn't hurt and it only has gotten slightly bigger. I don't have chills or anything. I feel completely normal. Is this just another infection or is this something else?

Hello, Thank you for asking your query at DoctorSpring

A painless enlarging lymph node suggests Malignancy elsewhere in the body.

Malignany anywhere in the body first metastizes to the lymph nodes resulting in an enlarged lymph node. Here are some home remedies for enlarged lymph nodes. Applying a hot compress can help relieve the discomfort, though it should not be so hot as to scald the skin.

I suggest you wait for a week and see if you develop any other symptoms or if the size of the lymph node decreases. Visit a physician after a week or two. He will suggest you to go for FNAC of node.

Hope this helps. Please feel free to ask follow-up question
