Excessive vaginal discharge and burning sensation associated with urinating may be a cause of Chlamydia infection. This is a bacterial infection transmitted through sexual intercourse, oral, anal or vaginal. I would advise you both to go for a checkup for investigating whether both of you are infected by this disease. If it is at all a case of Chlamydia infection, it can be cured by a seven day dose of high antibiotics. During the period of taking the drug, it is advisable not to have sex until the course is completed. Additional medicines can also be given to sex partners for speedy recovery.
