Resolved question:
I've had such severe pain in the last month that I almost thought of suicide. Upper C-5,6& 7 nerves irritated said my doc because this herniated disc looks the same as two yrs ago. Injured this time in the tall waves at the beach, June 23rd. On second highest dose of hydrocodone for three wks, plus gabapentin and robaxin TID. Prednisone shots in C-5-7. Still I'm just holding on one second at a time. I have never hurt this bad, even when I had a mastectomy. At least that pain lasted only two days. Same with lung surgery.
What do I do next? I can't do this another day unless I get relief. What do I do next?

where exactly is the pain?
Is there any numbness or weakness in arms?
I would also want the copy of your MRI of the cervical spine.
Sorry, it took so long to return. Yes, I have weakness in all my arm and hand. That part is really weird too because there is such a difference in strength between my right and left arm. Do you need the pictures? Or, I can scan the report given to me from the MRI
I'm in so much daily pain I had someone do Reiki on me today. Trying anything I can to reduce pain.
The pain is in my arm, especially the outside of the lower part, outside and back of the upper arm. It hurts on top of my shoulder and back. It really hurts on the lower outside of my right scapula, almost under my right arm. I believe it hurts there because of reconstruction to my breast 18 yrs ago. They used some muscles from my back for that.
As I type the muscle on top of my lower arm hurts too.
