I have noticed a slight swelling of my thyroid gland. However, I recently had an annual physical and had mentioned
that I have been feeling fatigued, lack of energy, and just feeling '"off." I asked the internist about my thyroid and as of late,
my thyroid seemed slightly inflamed but nothing to run to the ER about. My internist said my TSH and Free T4 were within range.

I am currently on some medications which are linked to fatigue, lack of concentration, etc. I also follow a regime of elliptical exercise four times a week for 35 min or more and I cannot lose weight.
Following a diet - even doing nutrisystem. I have been extremely fatigued and feeling generally "off." I have been on the following antidepressants for well over six months and in the past. I just believe something with the thyroid is not just right but the tests say differently.

I wanted to know what you thought of these ranges based on the attached results and if they warrant any concern or is it just something else?

TSH Result: 1.03
Free(FT4) Result: 1.06

Thank you for your help.

Hello,

Thanks for your consult at DoctorSpring.com.

These values are just fine. TSH alone is a very sensitive way to look for a thyroid problem, and normal TSH more or less suggests normal thyroid function. It is most likely something else.

Hope this helps. Please feel free to discuss further.
