Tingling sensation in penis, urge to pee after sex.

Resolved question:
5 days ago I had sex with a person who claims to be free of infection, but a day or two later I began feeling a constant urge to pee and a tingling sensation at the end of my penis. No discharge or lesions or pain urinating, just the annoying/worrisome feeling. Did I possibly damage something slightly or is this more likely the beginning of an infection? The only other thing to mention is now when I pee I can no longer 'shoot' out the last few drops, it just dribbles away.

Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com.

Dear Sir,

You have acquired an infection after intercourse. You need to see your doctor and get investigated to rule out STD and a urinalysis should be done to rule out UTI. You also need to start yourself on antibiotics under the care of your doctor.
Any structural damage is unlikely and you only seem to have an infection.
In summary, you require the following tests:
- Urinalysis
- STD panel, including urethral swab microscopy to detect Gonorrhea or Chlamydia.
I hope this was helpful. Feel free to ask queries.

Take care.

Sincerely.
Dr Rajiv Goel,
