Treatment for Molluscum outbreak over an year?

Resolved question:
I'm a 29 year old female. I have been dealing with a mulluscom outbreak for over a year. I had them frozen off last january and it took a few months for more to come back up. This november I had them frozen off again, and it seems like they multiplied. Why are they popping up so quickly? I went back again last week, and I see even more. I have changed my diet and exercise, tried all the home remedies, spent a ton of money on medicine from the internet, washed my clothes/towels/sheets/etc. My dermatologist says there's nothing I can do, but it is so embarrassing. I don't want to give it to anyone else so I wash my hands constantly and my skin is starting to crack. Help?

Hello

Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com

I can understand your concern.

These are called Fordyce's spots. They are ectopic sebaceous glands. They are a normal finding and do not indicate any pathology. They do not require any treatment.

But due to the Cosmetic concern if you want to get it treated, getting it burnt out is an option but they tend to reccur.

Please let me know if you have any queries.

Take care
