Viagra can be used even without having any erectile dysfunction

Resolved question:

Hello Doctor, I am an 18 year old male and I have no problems relating to erectile dysfunction.  But I intend using Viagra. Is using it safe? And what if someone has sexually transmitted diseases and wants to use Viagra?

Thank you, young man for putting up your question.  I must tell you that Viagra is mainly used to solve erectile dysfunction and is not commonly used otherwise. To use it as a recreational measure is a matter of controversy.  Yet studies reveal that using viagra for recreational purpose may lead to serious troubles like erectile dysfunction in long run. It’s just like if you get use to sleeping pills then it’s very tough to fall asleep naturally. Although, it is common among young men to find extra pleasure using viagra, in order to impress their partners. But it has turned out to hamper you natural strength to get aroused. My sincere advice would be not to use viagra or any other Ed drug casually. These drugs have hormones to fill the gap which causes erectile dysfunction.  Unnecessary usage may hamper the natural hormonal level in your body. Viagra is not related to sexually transmitted diseases since it’s a drug that corrects erectile dysfunction. But if one intends using viagra knowing he is suffering sexually transmitted diseases, he should take extra precautions by using barriers.  Young men take sex very casually, but it is not advised. You should, if you want consult a GP who would advice you otherwise than to use viagra to enhance your performance in bed. Hope this has answered your question. Take care and stay healthy.
