Weak urine stream with PROSTATIS, hard maintaining erection.

Resolved question:
Hello I am a 34 year old male. About a year ago I noticed I was waking up at night to urinate. I spoke with my doctor and he said it was prostatitus and that I should avoid drinking liquids at night. This helped but my urine stream is still weak. About 2 months ago my lower back started bothering me. I have had a bad back my whole life so I didn't think twice about it. A few weeks ago I noticed that I was having a hard time getting and maintaining an erection. I am very worried and not sure what to do

Dear sir,
Thanks for your query at DoctorSpring.com
Just getting up in the night cannot be diagnosed as chronic prostatitis. I shall be interested to know what other symptoms you had.
Low backache can be attributed to chronic prostatitis but you shall have other symptoms too.
Erectile dysfunction is probably not related to your urinary symptoms or backache. You should get yourself investigated and treated by urologist for worsening of erection. It can be due to deficiency of vitamins, decreased blood flow or neural dysfunction. The urologist shall identify your possible causes and treat accordingly.
Take care
Sincerely

What about the weak urine stream? It has been like that for over a year. It is worse in the morning and evening.

Dear sir
Poor stream also suggests weakening of muscles and shall happen because of deficiency of vitamins. You see urologist and get investigated. Both urinary as well as erectile issues shall get sorted with same treatment.
