2 pulses and a pause

Resolved question:

My pulses are a bit deviated from normal .they show a pattern 2 pulse then a pause then 2 pulse again there is a pause. Heart rate is abt 62 beats per minute.

I understand your concerns and will try to answer your queries to the best possible. Pulse is an arterial palpation of the heartbeat where the artery is compressed against the base. It is equivalent to measuring the heart rate. These are nothing but pressure generated by the heart. In your question, you have mentioned that your pulses show 2 pulses a time, then a pause and again 2 pulses and a pause. This condition is usually seen in patients with Aortic valve disease, where two pulses to each heart beat instead of one. This phenomenon is known as Pulsus bisferiens.I would suggest you to get an ECG done and also meet with the Cardiologist so he get evaluate you further.
