Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
Your child seems to be having an infection of the upper respiratory tract (URI). The most common cause of URI in children is viral. The symptoms described by you would perfectly fit into a viral infection. So kindly, do not give your child any antibiotics. Antibiotics are only useful when it is a bacterial infection.
For symptoms like blocked nose that are causing problems, you can do the following:
1. Steam inhalation
2. Nasal saline drops
3. Antipyretics for fever and pain relief
Give your child some time to recover.
Regards
