Resolved question:
I bump my wrist and the was quite a bit of swelling. The swelling went down but now there is quite a large bruised area. Will this also eventually go away by itself without doing anything? This happened on Saturday afternoon so it has been about 3 days now. I will send 2 pictures of the injury so you can see what I am asking about.

I understand your concern.
I saw the images you sent, there is quite a lot of bruising. However it does not look like anything serious.
Bruising occurs due to localised inflammation, and hence an anti-inflammatory like Advil/ Ibuprofen will be helpful, in resolving the bruise soon. You can take Tab. Ibuprofen 400 mg twice daily for 5 days. The pain will be gone, however the bruise will take slightly longer time to disappear.
You can also use a local anti-inflammatory ointment like Voveron ointment.
