Can I get AIDS by just vagina and penis touching?

Resolved question:
Hello, 18 days ago I met one girl. I did NOT have a sex with her. She just sucked me and she was siting on me. I DID NOT put a penis into her, but my penis and her vagina were touching. Now my head is shaking and I am little bit cold. I hope it is because it is colder outside and in last days I was outside just in jacket or shirt....can I get AIDS, even I DID NOT put my penis into her? Thank you

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I totally understand your concern.
However I will reassure you that if indeed the cat had rabies, making you susceptible it would have shown obvious signs of rage and would have tried biting you. In both the spectrums of rabies, silent and wild, the behavior of the affected animal is extremely weird, and easy to identify.
Also if indeed the virus made it to your eyes, and entered your body, being so close to the nervous system, you would have deloped rabies by now.
Rabies is a clinical diagnosis, hence i can't suggest any test for you but with my full professional expertise, I can guarantee you, you can put this matter behind you because there is no risk of anything adverse from the exposure you had.
Hope this was helpful,
Regards.

Dr. Prasad, thank you for your response. It is just that I have read that cats can carry the virus and show no visually apparent symptoms in the earlier stages appearing healthy, which has caused my concern. Is it only possible if the cat is in the latter stages of the disease for transmission as you have described?
Thanks and regards

Hello,
Yes what you are mentioning is more of a theoretical possibility.
Firstly the chances of cat carrying the infection is extremely miniscule, following which they will show symptoms.
In my clinical practise I have never come across any patient getting rabies from a cat.
So kindly do not worry. If there was a test I would have mentioned, rabies is more of a clinical diagnosis. One more thing is if you did get the infection, being so close to CNS, you would have manifested symptoms by now.
So I can reassure you, you have nothing to worry about.
Regards.
