Chances of pregnancy with sex on seventh day of period.

Resolved question:
Hi,

My last period came on 23 of July. Me and my husband had sex on day 27, 28 and 29 of July (on the fifth, sixth and seventh days) of my period with condom and he pulled out long before he ejaculated on the three occasions. Also I did the water test for the condoms every time and it was ok, no leakage or break. Also the condom was put on before any touching.

After that I made ovulation test everyday just to make sure I ovulate far away from the last time we had sex on 27 July, and it was negative everyday but came positive on days 7 and 8 of August, about two weeks after the beginning of my period. After that it became negative again.

Anyways I did not have sex with my husband except on the days I told you which is fifth, sixth and seventh day of my period.

My question is there any chance that i can be pregnant ?
how reliable is that test ? does it mean that I ovulated at that time and ONLY at that time ? is there a chance that if some sperm escaped from condom that it lived for seven days ? even though the initial rise in LH levels was more than 7 days since last time I had sex (about 9 days) ?

I am having light cramps and my period still need one week to come, could this be early pregnancy signs ?

please help I am super scared

Hello.
Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
Let me explain a few things to you. In a woman who has regular cycles of 28-30 days every time, ovulation occurs around the 14th day of the cycle. Once the ovum is released it stays viable for pregnancy for the next 12 hours and any unprotected sexual episode around this time, makes it likely for the woman to get pregnant. In your case you had sex on days 5,6,7 with your husband. It is highly unlikely to get pregnant around this time, since around the 5th day the cycle just gets over, and ovulation happens way later. Moreover he used condom, so in your case there is absolutely no pregnancy scare.
The ovulation happens only once. The tests to indicate ovulation are highly accurate. Hence i will predict your period will come around the 21st-22nd of august. So please don't be unnecessarily worried about this issue again. You're not pregnanct.
Sperms mostly stays at the uterus for a maximum period of 3 days. Only in some rare cases it can stay viable for a week. But you should not be worried about this.
I once again reassure, from your history you have no chances of getting pregnant and hence please don't be scared.
Hope this was helpful,
Regards.
