Elevated temperature, hedache with out of norm blood report.

Resolved question:
Hello

I have recently done blood test and some of the results are out of norm.
Could you please interpret this for me?
Please see attachment.
I have also some physical symptoms:
- Elevated temperature for last 4 weeks : over 37 – 37.5 C
- Mild – to Acute Headache – almost every day for last 4 weeks
- Joint/bone pain for last couple of days
- Feeling dizzy sometimes
- Feeling tired for over year

What further test would you advise?
Might it be sign of Leukaemia?

Thank you

Monika

Hello.
You blood count report seems normal but for elevated monocytes values. These could be because of some kind of infection and the symptoms you described fits in. A peripheral blood smear can rule out a leukemia if you are still concerned about it.
Are any lymph glands in neck enlarged ?
I would suggest you to go for a complete physical examination and do further tests based on your physician's opinion.
Wishing you a speedy recovery.
Regards.

Yes I have one of the lymph nodes enlarged ( neck) but I was thinking it is because of wisdom tooth infection. Is it possiblle taht such infection could cause increased monocytes count and enlarged lymph node ?
I have already arrange appointment with GP but I am littlle bit paranoid that it could be something serious like leukemia...

Thank you anyway
Monika

Hello.
Isolated monocytes count elevation most commonly is because of infection probably viral. It is a self limiting one. In case of other normal parameters, I would not think of leukaemia. I would suggest you to take some antibiotics and meet your Physician ASAP for a complete physical examination.
Please Let me know if I can be of any more help.
Regards.
