I am 42 yr woman.
I have recently shifted to Shillong India. After 10 days of arrival i am having greasy hair and hairfall. I earlier did have hairfall issue 3-4 yrs back but i never had greasy hair. I am using dove hairfall rescue shampoo. Even after shampoo there is no change please advice. Thanks.

Thanks for posting your query.
I can understand your concern.
Greasy hair fall occurs due to a hot and humid environment, the sweat accumulates and causes the hair to be greasy.
Also it indicates the presence of dandruff.
I would recommend application of two shampoos alternately, each just twice a week.
One would be ciclopirox oleamine shampoo, the other one being fluocinolone acetonide shampoo.
Using these shampoos would be useful in resolving your concern of greasy hair.

Doc I have actually shifted from hot and humid to now dry and cold. Shillong is humid only during monsoons. Weather is cold and dry from Sep to mar.Then why it has become greasy. Advice.

It could be due to dandruff and at times due to hormonal imbalance.
I would recommend that you follow my advice about the shampoos.
