Hi,

Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com.

I have noted your complaints of shaking of hands, called as tremors.

The commonest cause of tremors of hands are related to anxiety or tension.

The next common cause is benign or familial tremors, where there could be a family history of similar shaking of hands or head among family members (parents, grandparents, siblings, etc). However, family history may be lacking in some cases.

These are the two possibilities in your case. There is no need to worry about them.

If the shivering affects your daily life, then, you can take beta blockers such as propranolol.

I hope it helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries.

Best wishes,
