Hello Doctor. I am 57 year old. I have this erection problem from the past 4 years and started treatment 1 week back. My physician prescribed me Levitra. My question is, when on this treatment do i still be able to maintain the erection even after ejaculation?

Hello and welcome. Thank you for writing to us. Levitra is prescribed for erectile dysfunction as well as premature ejaculation in men. The main mechanism of action is to maintain an erection(which was otherwise not possible) and to prolong the period between vaginal penetration and ejaculation. Thus, as this period itself will last for quite sometime, I doubt you would require to maintain an erection even after ejaculation. I hope this information helps.
