Mistook TRI-SPINTERIC birth control pill. Am I still protected?

Resolved question:
On my birth control pack, on Saturday morning I took my Sunday pill and this morning (Sunday) I took Saturday's.

They are different colors for different colored hormones, I believe. I am on Tri Sprintec.

I do not want to mess up my period but I am more concerned about being protected. Am I still protected? My boyfriend is just back from vacation and neither of us want to use a condom.

Please let me know. Both were active pills (week 1 and week 2)

Hello,
Thanks for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I have gone through your question in detail and I can understand what you are going through.
The sleep cycle that you are.following gives you a NORMAL day but at a cost of your health. Our body can adapt to some extent but during this period of adaptation our body is streesed out with increase the levels of cortisol and finally illhealth. Your body has responded to the stress and thats why it is not cooperating anymore.
You need to get back to your regular night cycle and if not atleast the regulat cycle that your work allows. Tab melatonine may help you in this regard which you can take some 20 min before expected time of sleep. As a natural medication it helps regularize the sleep pattern.
Difficult to answer that why now? But now that the problem has come, you should sort it out.
Hope I am able to answer your concerns.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
Wish you good health,
Kind regards
Dr. Srikanth Reddy M.D.
