Out of balance and dizzy

Resolved question:
I feel dizzy. It started yesterday and I feel out of balance and a bit dizzy. I am very stressed about this because 2 days ago, I was lying on the couch and my cat came from behind and slapped me in the head with one of her paws. Is this connected. Could there be internal bleeding or is it related to the ear?
When I am sitting I feel some disequilibrium and I feel like there is some weirdness in my ears. I checked my blood pressure and it was normal. I have no fever. Sugar levels are fine. Also I checked my pupil size in the mirror and they seem the same.

Hello,

Thank you for asking your query at DoctorSpring.

You seem to have mild case of Labrynthitis which is actually an inflammation in the inner ear. Since the inner ear control balance you might feel dizzy or like having lack of balance.

This is unrelated to the slap by the cat. Such an invent will not cause any major bleeding. If the symptoms persists you might require an ENT elevation and a labyrinthine sedative. You may feel nauseous too.

Sever nausea and vomiting, visual disturbances, weakness on any limb, swaying to one side, headache, ear ache and double vision are the warning signs. If none of these are there and if the symptoms are not very severe you can just observe for a couple of days and wait for self resolution.

Hope this helps
