Penile rash secondary to fungal infection.

Resolved question:
Hello. I am a 59 year old male in good health and in a long term monogamous relationship. In the last few weeks I have developed a rash on the head and underside of my penis. It starts with a small patchs that grow in different areas. There is no pain and very little itching. I thought maybe it was a yeast infection so I took a Diflucan one pill and have been using Monistat cream for a few days but there doesn't seem to be any improvement. In fact any irritation this has caused has just started in the past day. Do you have any suggestions?
Thank you

Hello,

Thanks for posting your query. I can understand your concern.

I request you to take a picture of the rash and send it, so I could have a look and give my opinion regarding the rash. It would be difficult to comment on the rash without actually seeing it as in dermatology most of the rashes are in patches etc.

You could reply as follow-up and upload the pictures.
Thanks.
Take care
