Spotting, small clots week after planb pill. Pregnancy?

Resolved question:
I had unprotected sex on November 4th. I took the morning after pill the next day. Exactly a week later I started what seemed like an early period, but it started out all brown. It got heavier and red as it went on with small clots in it as well. It is now 9 days after sex and 8 after I took the morning after pill. The past two days I have been feeling constantly nauseous. It never lets up unless I eat or drink something. My main concern is that I could be pregnant. Is it normal to bleed like this and feel sick after the morning after pill? How soon should I take a pregnancy test to be sure?

Hello,

Thanks for the update.
See, basically, the bleeding could be due to 2 reasons.
After taking the morning after pill, some amount of bleeding, nausea etc is common.
Also, again, you were much in time for your regular period, so it could be that too.
Nausea is a symptom of early pregnancy.
Both the symptoms - nausea, as well as bleeding / spotting - are pretty much non specific, and do not mean anything either way.
You cannot arrive at a conclusion based on these.
You should take a pregnancy test on the 20th of November in any case.
That is, assuming you had regular cycles.
Regards.
