When you are diabetic your most favorite food can also become the most dangerous food you can eat. Some foods can actually cause your blood glucose level to shoot up and cause you to faint or even go into cardiac arrest. This is why doctors’ advice that they should be conscious about what they eat.

• Processed Cereal or Oatmeal: Anything from cheerios, rice crispiest or captain crunch are all potential death traps for diabetic patients because they are advertised as a healthy breakfast option but they are actually very dangerous to diabetics due to the two major ingridents in them.
• Store bought Burger or sandwich: A burger is something almost everyone loves. They are the most eaten sandwich in America. They are dangerous to you because they contain refined flour, cancer-causing growth hormones and antibiotics from the beef, and the mucous-forming cow's cheese. These also cause a great risk of Heart diseases.
• Fried Chicken or fried anything: Anything with the word fried in it is dangerous for diabetics to eat, especially when it is a deep fried chicken coated in bread crumbs. French fries are also something you must never eat because everything in it is bad for you ,the potatoes, oil used for frying and the salt added all are bad for your health.
• Ribs: who doesn’t like a nice prime rib with all the juicy sauces and the smoky flavor? But it is again a potential killer due to the amount of sugar and syrup added to caramelize the ribs.
• Artificial beverages: Any artificially prepared drink is not safe for you to drink because Sugar is a large portion of the drink. Even the so called sugar free fruit juices , contain fructose a form of sugar.
• Frozen Dinners or TV dinners: They may be easy to prepare and are actually good to eat but they are full of trans-fats, refined salt, refined flour, starch and sugar.

So the best option is to make a niece home cooked meal where we know what is exactly in our food.
