Hi,

Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com.

Your symptoms are suggestive of peripheral neuropathy, where the nerves of hands and feet are affected. Since this is acute onset and rapidly progressing, this needs to be investigated. A nerve conduction studies of all four limbs, done after consulting a neurologist would help. Most importantly, we need to exclude a diagnosis of Guillain Barre syndrome, where nerves of all four limbs are affected with pain, tingling and weakness.

Other causes to be excluded are diabetes, vitamin B12 deficiency and collagen vascular disease. These can be done with appropriate blood investigations.

For symptom relief, you can take pregabalin or gabapentin capsules.

I hope it helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries.

Best wishes,
