Resolved question:
My right leg is tingling. I am 43 years old patientold, Female - currently being treated for a painful tooth abscess - had a root canal already - currently on 2 antibiotic meds (amoxicylin and metronizadole) Started amoxicillin on Tuesday, had root canal on thursday then friday - then friday started metronizadole - ..

The dentist told me to stop the 2nd antibiotic the (metronizadole)

Concerned over my right leg - possibly just resting too much?? - sciatica??

Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your symptoms. I agree that tingling and peripheral neuropathy can occur due to metronidazole, however, both legs would be affected in that case. So, in your case, the symptoms may not be related to metronidazole.
Possibly could be related to pressure on the nerves with too much rest. If the symptoms persist, or if you develop radiating pain from back to leg, we may need to consider sciatica.
Best wishes,

Thank you Dr. Kumar. My right arm is sore/stiff as well - any link to sciatica? Or am i just being paranoid.

Thanks

No that doesn't sound like sciatica.
Let's wait and watch.

Ok - woke up and my right hand fell asleep (pins and needles) - shook that off - ]
possible neck - poor blood circulation? I have been working in bed on a computer in a not so good position.
Thanks - need to go into the dr's office - specialist?

No, I don't think so. It's normal to have pins and needles after sleep in a bad position for long duration.
