VERTIGO with all ENT tests normal. Can be DIABETES?

Resolved question:
Hello. I have been having vertigo for about 3mths now. All ENT tests showed that everything is normal. I did do a non-fasting finger test diabetes kit and the reading was 5.7. Do I have diabetes possibly? There is a family history and I have a constant heavy head.
Thank you

Hello.
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com.

I understand your concern.
A no-fasting glucose level of 5.7 mmol/L is absolutely normal and Diabetes is not a possibility.

In order to work towards a possible cause of your vertigo, I would like some additional details.
1. When you say vertigo, can you please describe the exact sensation you experience?
2. How long does each bout of vertigo last?
3. Any nausea or vomiting?
4. Any difficulty maintaining balance or posture?
5. Any deafness or ringing in the ears?
6. Is there any specific activity that triggers the vertigo or make sit worse? Like specific head movements/ postures, coughing, sneezing, exertion, or loud noises?
7. Any history of trauma to the head or neck injury 3 months ago?
8. Any difficulty in speech, swallowing or vision?
9. Is there an aura preceding the attack of vertigo with intolerance to light/bright light, noise?
10. Does your entire head feel heavy or only one side?
Please answer each of these in the follow-up.

Awaiting your response,
Regards.
PS: Please mention your age and gender.
