Will HORMONE RECEPTIVE BREAST CANCER become resistent to AROMASIN?

Resolved question:
i have written before, but I am still suffering from anxiety as I bet my ca27.29 blood work done in two weeks. History: Stage 2b hormone receptive breast cancer in 1998. 6/13 nodes positive. No problems until June 2013. Markers were 98, then 104. Had bone scan-normal, cat scan, pet scan. three nodes lit up on the scan. Two in my chest wall and one in the groin. I had the groin node taken out and it was hyperplasia. No cancer. My onc said the nodes in my chest could not be biopsied. Put me on aromasen and my marker went into the normal range. In March they were 36.2. Does that mean the cancer is acting up and I can expect high markers this month? How long before cancer mets become resistant to aromasin? Can I expect the cancer to move to an organ soon? I checked my chart online and it says I have metastatic breast cancer. why didn't the nodes show up on a cat scan. I can barely function. Is there any hope? And the nodes did not show up on the cat scan. The chest nodes were pea sized.

Dear,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
Though your tumor markers are an indirect sign of cancer coming back, they cannot be of insignificance. As they went down with aromasin, it is suggestive of recurrence.
1. May be the markers may rise if they are not responding to aromasin. Ask your oncologist if he wants to add everolimus along with aromasin. This combination works better.
2. since the tumor took so long to come back, it would have acquired some more mutations for growing again. May be a repeat biopsy of the new lesion or re-examination of IHC test in old lesion may be useful. But please consult with your oncologist in this regard.
3. CAT scan is just a simple imaging. PET scan is functional imaging showing wjether the cancer is active or not. PET CT is better option in your case .
4. YES. DEFINITELY THERE IS HOPE OF ADDING MANY NEW DRUGS AS BREAST CANCER IN NOW CONQUERABLE.

I am confused. The two nodes in my chest are lesions? and why would the node in my my groin not have cancer? Can inflammation make markers rise? I do not understand what new mutations mean. I am sorry-really scared.
