Hello,

Yellow bumps in throat could be collection of yellow colored mucus in back of your throat which appears like bumps.

You are having a infection of throat. Could be a staphylococcus infection. There is nothing to be worried about; you will not develop lymphadenopathy for staph throat infection. I suggest you try hot water with salt gargling like for 3 or 4 times a day. Warm the water with two teaspoons of salt and use that to gargle. I suggest you also start with antibiotic as you have developed fever. Take a course of amoxicillin 500mg twice daily for five days.

If your infection doesn't come down and you still feel they are bumps and not mucus. I suggest you consult a ENT specialist who will look in using laryngoscope. A swab will be used to wipe of the yellow bumps and sent for investigation.

Thank you.
