Cause for the swelling caused by INTERNAL HEMORRHOIDS.

Resolved question:
I was diagnosed a few weeks back with an internal haemorrhoid. I went to the doctors who proscribed me a cream and said use this for 7 to 10 days twice daily (morning and evening).

The cream soon helped clear things up after 8-9 days i couldn't feel the swelling anymore so stopped using the cream. I have a very high fibre diet and drink plenty of water so my stool is always pretty soft and it's often very easy to clean.

Despite the haemorrhoid clearing up i still have what appears to be swelling and some small lumps around the anus, these come and go and are not painful however im concerned they are returning haemorrhoids. Does it take time for the skin to anal tissue to settle down having been stretched by the haemorrhoid. I'm a little concerned as to why i have these lumps. Any information will be greatly appreciated. I have attached an image.

Hello,
Thank you for posting your query at DoctorSpring.com
I saw the picture.
Internal haemorrhoids occur commonly at 3,7 and 11'o clock positions.skin will become stretched out and seen as tags around the anus.
They will not disappear completely.
If there is no bleeding, nothing to worry.
Please eat high fiber diet, drink plenty of liquids, eat fresh fruits and vegetables .Your stool should be soft.
If bleeding occurs, then you have to undergo surgery. The skin tags will also be removed.
Nothing to worry. It is a simple procedure.
Hope I answered your query. If you have any questions, I will clarify further.
Wish you good health.
Regards
