Fever, weak after run in heat, dizziness. DEHYDRATED?

Resolved question:
Hi,

I felt like I might be getting a cold last week, but I got rest and it passed. Then, last Friday, after a brisk run in the heat, I felt strange. Figured I was dehydrated, although I regularly run outside and didn't feel out of breath or dizzy. That afternoon I was extremely weak and by 4pm had a fever of 102 degrees. I took two Advil, went to be and by the next day -- Saturday -- the fever was gone. The weird feeling -- almost a bit of dizziness, or brain fog I would say -- remained. It has improved as the days have gone on, and I have been able to exercise and eat and drink, etc., but it's Wednesday and I still feel a little weird. I did have a stressful family situation last week, which could be exacerbating it I suppose.

Should I go to a doctor or is this simply a matter of a bug clearing up? I am 33 years old patientold, 5'8", 155 pounds, eat healthfully and never drink more than two drinks in one night. (I drink 3 or four nights a week.) I don't do drugs.

Thank you!

Hello,
Thank you for your query at DoctorSpring.com
I understand your concern.
These symptoms are common while recovering from a viral infection, so insofar there is no need to visit a doctor.
If the symptoms persist for another couple of days, you can get a CBC and ESR test done and follow-up with me.
Feel free to discuss further,
Regards.
