Reasn for high TESTOSTERONE with SPIRONOLACTONE in transgender.

Resolved question:
I'm a transgender woman, pre-op, I'm taking spironolactone (200 mg per day) estrodiol (2 mg per day) and finistride (5 mg per day). My testosterone levels are 236 ie. Very high, what could possibly be the reason, also they were 87 back in October

Thanks for your query at DoctorSpring.com.
You need to check the DHT levels too, and Free Testosterone.
The dose of Estradiol may need to increase.
Spironolactone and Finasteride do not reduce testosterone levels.
