I was prescribed Lyrica as a mood stabalizer. Unfortunately, after only 2 weeks I became very depressed and developed severe memory problems and stopped my prescription. My doctor felt I should continue with this drug but at a lower dose - 25mgs twice a day. I took my first Pregabalin 2 days ago. I was typing an email and according to my family came completely nonsensical. I felt frozen and unable to talk though I was still aware of my surroundings. At this time I almost blacked out.

Since then I have made a limited recovery. My brain and body feel heavy. My recall for names is more severely compromised and spelling is arduous. For a time I slurred my words. I took only the one Lyrica. Is this permanent?
