There are few possible reasons for this pain.
First and foremost is cardiac pain. Since its in left side and there is sort of heaviness, a heart related problem has to be ruled out. The chances are pretty rare considering you are only 23. The cholesterol levels are ok for your age group. But I still I recommend you to get an ECG test done, which simple and inexpensive.
A musculoskeletal pain can be the problem here. There could be some amount inflammation causing the heaviness. I would recommend you to take an over the counter pain killer or tablet like Voveran 50 mg twice daily + Rabeprazole 20 mg twice daily after food , in consult with you Doctor. The pain should subside in few days.

The tablet is commonly prescribed one. There are some side effects like gastritis, allergic reaction, renal problems etc. That why I suggested you to take it under medical supervision.
You can take for 3 days.
